Mark McCarthy
President / Founder

Since the inception of NOVA Carriers Corp in 2012, Mark has held the position of President and COO. Mark earned his degree in Business Economics from the University of California Santa Barbara campus. He entered the petroleum industry in 1984 as Transportation and Operations Manager for a large independent truck stop chain. After nine years, he migrated to Washington State and served as Operations Manager for assorted petroleum jobbers overseeing their transportation and retail operations. His past position for 10 years has been as President of Sunburst Transportation, and independent "for hire carrier" of refined petroleum products with operations in San Diego, Los Angeles, Colton and Phoenix, AZ.

Following a chronic illnes within his family, Mark became inspired to apply his 27 years of logistics expertise towards serving the medical transportation industry. The result was the creation of "NovaCare Assisted Transportation" in 2013, which currently serves the counties of San Diego and Riverside.

As a growing company, NOVA Carriers Corp. will continue to expand our services into new industries within the Southern California area.
